Invitation link: “I already replied”, and emails that look like the app
Two changes for anyone who replies to an invitation from their browser, without the app.
“I already replied”. You replied from your phone, and now you’re reopening the link on a computer, or inside an app that has its own browser? “Find my reply” already existed, but at the bottom of the page, and only for guests without an account. It’s now “I already replied”, in the bar where you reply. You enter the email address you’d left, you get a six-digit code, valid for ten minutes and only once, and you find your reply again. If you hadn’t left any address, the page says so plainly: in that case there’s nothing to recognize you by.
It works with an AmidAmi account too. You’re then “recognized” on that event’s page, and only that one, with “Log out” right next to it — handy on a shared computer. If you’re not part of the event yet, your reply stays what it has always been: a request, which the host accepts or not.
On-brand emails, in six languages. All of AmidAmi’s emails — codes, the welcome email, guest reminders, host approval, the waitlist, a spot opening up, support replies — now have the app’s look, dark mode included. The ones that only existed in French are translated into all six languages. For a guest without an account, it’s their browser’s language that counts: it’s saved when they reply or leave their address.
None of this requires installing anything.
