What’s new
AmidAmi on the App Store, and what’s changed since the beta
Since 27 October 2026, AmidAmi can be downloaded for free from the App Store, on iPhone. Here’s what has joined the app since the September beta.
A home screen in a single feed. Your invitations, what’s coming up, “Create”, open events and the “Friends of friends” row — your friends’ friends, added with a single tap — on one screen, no tabs. How friends of friends work.
Stories. An event’s photos, or its recap, can be posted as a story in the app: your friends see them for seven days, never with the address or the guest list.
The recap as a video. Three edits to share or keep: Film, Flipbook and Express.
Templates. “Host it again” starts from a past event, and six ideas come included. A template selects guests; it never invites anyone for you.
Reminders. Three hours before, “We’re counting on you for: Ice”. For the kitty, the host ticks “Received” in “Who’s paid?”, and AmidAmi reminds those who haven’t paid on the host’s behalf: the next day, then three and seven days later.
The map and the chat. A Map hub, where past events you were at become memories that open their recap. In the chat, “Seen by” under the last message.
Six languages. The app also speaks German, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, and follows your phone’s language on its own.
And also: picking the date together, a waitlist when the event is full, “Add to my calendar”, and an example event to see everything before creating your own.
